You must traverse the deceitful skies,
For the moon is gone tonight.
You must discover what's gone wrong
And end the celestial bedlam.

Jump on a dark, gray cloud
Ride it through the blackness of the night,
Escape the sans-lunar atmosphere
And make your way toward the planet Mars!

Head for the stars, head for the stars!
I know for a fact you can get that far!

Jump off the cloud and watch it poof away,
Land on the planet and breathe a sigh of relief,
Take in the tainted air, but not for too long,
Let yourself grow weak, but still hold strong!

Look out to your right, look hard through the night,
There is no moon, not within your sight!
Hop on a fierce, red star and direct it toward
The hole in the heart of the universe!

Head for the moon, head for the moon!
You will make it in time, don't give up so soon!

Where the moon should be, at least, normally,
There is still nothing, except a black, black sea.
You need to find a cure, some way to heal,
The despair being caused by this absence impure.

Where is the brightest light of the night
The one that guides even those without sight?
Pull out your heart, tie it to your sleeve,
Plunge into the blackness that is the deceit.

Head for the heart, the heart of the skies
Think carefully now, and give light to the night!

Give lies to the wise, the wise empty guise,
The deceit of the skies that seems to have pried
Open the night, leaving a hole in the dark, night sky,
Where the bright of the moon would normally thrive.

And through the confusion that is the illusion
Of perfect destruction and galactic collusion,
You'll find that the moon will warp its way home,
And return to its place in the center of our hearts.

Head back home where the sky is now bright,
And where the moon shall now shine, every night.
