My Mom was attacked...

So I was woken up today by my brother wanting to use my cell phone I told him whatever and he tells me that my dad attacked my mom and tried to stab her. I can't really think straight right now and I'm still like half sleep but I'm kinda scared. My dad has a temper problem and he has abused my mom before so I do believe her on that but it's hard for me to think that he would go that far and I really don't want to believe it either but god I can't stop thinking about it.

My brother has been trying to get a hold my sister but she still hasn't called back but my dad is in jail right now. I'm going to call in my job and let them know the situation so i can try and find a way down and check on my mom. This isn't the first time that my dad tried to kill her and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last, but it still doesn't stop me from thinking that I could have lost both of my parents today.

So after hearing my brother bitch about it he says that my mom is in the hospital, my dad might be in jail he's not sure, my uncle is on the way there, and everyone else is acting like they losing their damn minds. He says he doesn't want anything to do with it.

Idk he already talked to her about it so I don't think he's much worried anymore. I can't get a hold of her though and the more I think about it the more I start freaking out.

Try not to panic.

Yes, your mum is hurt. But she isn't too badly hurt because she was able to speak with your brother.
The doctors are there to look after her now. They will make sure that she gets the treatment she needs and they won't let anything else happen to her.

Try and get down to the hospital where you can see her and your uncle. It will probably do you both (you and your uncle) good to talk about this together.

So after more bitching from my brother come to find out that they were pretty much trying to get back together and sex might have been involved. Every time they try and get back together it turns out terribly wrong. So I guess when my dad didn't get what he wanted he snapped. He finally talked to my sister and she said that she called my dad while he was trying to run from the police and now no one can get a hold of him so he's either hiding or in jail. This is like a bad dream.
