I know this is bad, but I don't know how to stop

I've been in a deep pit of depression since my best friend, Jack, died in a car crash last week. I've been suicidal, and tried to overdose on pills the day he died. I need help, I feel like I'm drowning. I'm sick and tired of feeling like this.

Thanks Dec, idk if I can get on later or what, I think my dad wants me to do stuff but I wanted him to stay in AA and that didn't happen so... I don't really give a fuck what he says.

Let me ask you this; would your friend want you to commit suicide? No, he would want you to be happy. Its sad losing a friend, but think of how you would feel if you caused some one suicide because of an accident.

First of all, don´t commit suicide. You are young and there is lots of things to experience in your life. You can feel like it´s a good decision to end your life now, but it isn´t. Time heals injuries and also sorrow, trust me.

Talk to a therapist or something. They can give you professional advice and can help you. But really, you have to use you're own iron will to not do it. There's so much for you to live for. You should not cut your life short. It does hurt, but you can make it through. You're friend would not want you to do it. Just hang on and make it through :)

You're overwhelmed by the greif. Understandable. But, it's temporary, you have to find a way to cope with those feelings and get thru them.

Talking helps, find people to talk with and get as much support as you can di=uring this difficult time. Tell your folks what you need, and be very specific about how badly you feel. Including the OD. You might need a therapist here, they can get you to one.

Yeah, he would be in panic mode if I told him I was suicidal, he was always worried about how I was feeling
