Pittsburgh Penguins win the Stanley Cup

Oh, this is an interesting one. Here's a few stats about it.

This is the first time the finals series has been won while the winning team was on the road.

Last year the Red Wings faced off against Pittsburgh, and won.

Marian Hossa was on the losing Penguins last year and switched to Detroit, wanting to win a Stanley Cup before he retired. Ironically, the next year he was beat by the Penguins for the Stanley Cup.

This went to the seventh game.

Very interesting series, and I'm happy Pittsburgh won.

I loved following that series and it was even better that Pitt won. How about that last minute? Intense.

I am for red wings but they played horrible. They deserved to loose. Pittsburgh was the better team =/
