Recently, I've come into a small road block. I've been making my birthday list and I really would LOVE to have these two games. However, I know I wouldn't get both of them (:|) so I want an honest opinion on this. Which game is better: Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero? I'm leaning more to the side of RB2 and not GH. Any help here?

i would go for guitar hero i just prefer the layout and colouring of it, plus when you play rock band the notes are slim lines i think they're harder to keep in rythm with than the circles in gh

Wow, my opinion is the complete opposite. I prefer the colour, layout and feel of RB, and I think the note-blocks are easier to follow than the circles.

Rock Band 2 is a lot better than Guitar Hero. Rock Band 2 has better songs and customization of your character. I'm actually on it as I type this, lulz.
Aha, I forgot to mention this, Matt. There is Journey on Rock Band 2. Does that convince you? :P

Id go with GH im assuming world tour. Singing in RB2 is more difficult because of the weird arrow thing. i didnt like it. The only thing about ghwt is the drum set. Theres been a lot of complaints about it breaking.
Maybe its just loyalty to GH because i got the previous games.

Guitar Smash Hits, Guitar Hero 5 and, I think, Guitar Hero Van Halen.
Rock Band has Any Way You Want It on the disc and you can downlaod Don't Stop Believing, so ha.

Ok, it has Journey? That convinces me to get RB2 :P I'll have to get it for PS2 though, and I'm sure I can't download songs if I have it for PS2 right?

No, I just looked up the song lists and found some other artists on there I like. If I bought it for just one song, it owuld be a huge waste of time, space and money :P
