Shaved my legs

I shaved my legs about a week ago (havent told anyone) and still shaving my legs (I had SUPER hary legs like a monkey lol) I am some what scard to tell anyone I shaved my legs for fear that they would say im gay or make fun of me. has anyone else shaved their legs or still shave their legs? Has anyone made fun of you for doing it? Oh ya i have another problem I am getting shaving bumps any solutions?

I shave my legs because body hair is nasty. Sure, people have made fun of me, but you just need to learn to laugh with them.

Just don't let it bother you. You don't have to run around going LOL I SHAYV LEGZ, but if someone asks you, you can tell them. Honestly, dudes who run around and do that annoy me. If you do it, do it for you; not so you can be lol unique. Ya feel me?

As for shaving bumps, I used to get them too, but I guess my skin got used to them or something because I haven't in awhile. You can try using Nair, but that might give you a rash depending on your skin type. Or maybe waxing, but that's a bit painful.

i shave my legs as well but no one makes fun of me cause every one is for some reason a little homophobic so i just go around hugging guys all the time it's fun but every one knows im straight but to be honest no one really messes with me any way im a pretty good fighter but remember they have to strike the first blow and don't deliberately make them angry. I like my legs with just a few nice small hairs it's nice to know im not the only one that shaves my legs

I have shaved mine once and it was no big deal. A lot of athletes shave their legs. So if you like shaving your legs do it. I have to be honest it feels nice to have your legs shaved and it even feels nice when your legs rub against your pants.

Shaving your legs does not make you gay. A lot of athletes do it all the time. So please don't worry about it.

I shaved mine once and said I took sedatives and my friends did it as a prank, sad thing was, the believed it. :-D

i shave my legs to, and trust me people were actually telling me to and were all like "dude thats cool!" in those weird whiny voices, if anyone makes fun of you just go with it and try to change the topic with a bit of random comic relief. And the shaving bumps, use some kind of cream after you shave that specializes on this to remove them, eventually some bodies suppres them so you could just ignore them for a while.

I shave my legs and i like how my legs are i hate it when it feels so hairy don't how i am but for the bumps i never had them for some reason smmh i maybe unique lol ..so yea don't worry about it dude it's all good just keep doing it if u like it no one can stop u

Just do what you want to do. I mean, who is there to tell you what you can and can not do? People should just accept you for why you are, and what you want to do, so just be proud of it. Be proud of who you are, and dont let anyone get you down because of it. Don't let people bring you down because of stupid remarks. When someone tries to make fun of you, it is just because they have insecurities, and want to bring others down to their level, so they feel like they have less. Whenever anyone says/does anything because of it, jsut walk away and forget about it. Words will be words and nothing more.

If you tend to get more agitated with such action, learn to meditate (sounds retarted, but really helps). Meditate daily, and soon you will become serene, and no one or thing can bring you down because of what they say. Then, when someone says something that might otherwise have brought u down/make you pissed off before you started meditating, just remember to breathe, and compress all of your anger into the second chakra. Meditation and dicipline (which i didnt really go into) can prove to be a really helpful tool. You shoud try it, if you are in that situation.

If you honestly cant handle them making fun of you (which I can also understand), then just tell them you are on the swim or track team.

But seriously be proud of who you are, because no one, absolutly no one, can take that away from you, no matter how hard they try.

I shaved my legs once as my legs are like yours, and I prefered the hairless look. Because I had developed hair pretty fast and before my friends it was noticed, and I did not get the best feedback. Personally, I think you should do what you feel you like, and don't worry about what others say. Especially if you are pretty hairy you might not want to go totally hairless and use a body hair groomer to thin out the hair so that people won't notice a huge change. Shaving one's legs does not make one gay as Rob had mentioned above plenty of athletes do shave their legs. Also, keep in mind that the hairless look is in fashion now, and you won't be alone in having hairless legs as I see a lot of guys who clearly look like they shave their legs. Sexuality is not determined on grooming habits. In short, my suggestion is to not make drastic changes and gradually trim down your hair so that folks won't notice a big change. Obviously for places where you might get a hard time, then wearing pants might be the best bet. However, if folks are giving you a tough time about your legs, then think of some good comebacks such as "why are you looking at my legs in the first place?"

As for the bumps, I think the most important thing you can do is soak your legs in warm water first before shaving. Also, make sure you are using a good rasor for shaving legs as feminine rasors are better suited for such a task than a regular one that a guy uses. Go to the shaving section and look at female rasors and shaving creams/gels as they will usually give you good results.

I don't shave for two reasons; one is that I'm scared people might call me gay..which I know they will..and the other reason is that I'm not hairy at all, I'm 15 and I don't even have noticable hair on my arms, and my leg hairs are pretty thin and not a lot, but my pubic hair is very thick

it doens grow thicker when u shave it. it gros slightly faster so for it to stay the same u may have to shave more often.

I think that if you feel more comfortable with no hair on your legs is not a reason for someone makes fun of you, I mean, It's your body and you are able to do whatever you want to do with it. Now, don't feel bad if someone mocks of you, just don't follow their game because if you do, they will see that It produces a bad reaction in you and they will do it more and more. Just let it go.
