I Think I still love my ex.....

Ok..... Well the title basically explains everything.I think i still love my ex.We broke up for like a while and i thought i got over him but lately Im keep thinking about him and it's really getting annoying. He doesn't want to talk to me anymore, like we just stop talking to each other and i got over that(because Im the one that supported to not talk to each other again).
He can be a jerk at times. His name is Matt the worst fucking kid u can fall in love with ADHD. Ugh just talking about him drives me nuts. Although I love him. Ok let me get straight to the discussion. What can i do to forget about him, like he won't get out of my head i think about him every single day. Just help me out here i need tips to really forget about him.

I think it takes time to get over loss, Sam. Sadness is a part of that, idealizing what you had is too. You have to give yourself some time, and realize it's a process in letting go emotionally. Even if you had a bad time, or mixed feelings, it's still a loss, and it should be treated as such. So, spend some time thinking and grieving the loss of the relationship, allow yourself to feel it. With time, it will be less painful, and you'll find you've developed a different perspective on it. Just don't spend ALL your time on Matt, give yourself a prescribed amount of time each day to 'go there'.

im in ny too lol ....and thxs i'll try but it's not easy because he was my first bf and i really do love him he meant a lot to me but we always fight but i always told him no matter what i love u and i do ....fuck ugh i'll try to do what u told me but it's really hard and i can't take it

I'm sorry your going through this much pain in getting over him. I think a project or a hobby would be good to immerse yourself in.

Thanks. I do have hobbies; I draw,write poems,and cook on the side. I keep my self busy and when i go to high school next year Im going to try out for track. Well thinks any way.I try to get over him =]
