Job physicals are generally not the same as a sports physical, and a job physical is generally no where as intensive. Unlike a sports physical where you are looked over from head to toe to ensure that you are physically able to handle a sport a work physical is very basic in the sense that you are asked a bunch of questions such as whether you have had a medical problem, you have been exposed to harmful substances, and whether or not you can handle the physical aspects of the job in question. About the only test you might have to do is a drug test unlike a sports physical where you might have to give blood.

In short, a job physical is just your filling out a questionnaire and a drug test, and the job physical is really basic without your having to get undressed or anything along those lines unlike a sports physical.

pontiacdriver i think i have to disagree, i got my sports physical yesterday and my job physical in April but it is for sports a check-up for any injuries or medications ur on, if u need a clearance and they check for hernias and for a job, just questions, check-up and they check your gentials for hernias. so they do check you in both cases, but that might be just me.

I am not sure but now that I think about it jobs should test you to see what accomidations you would need while sports are if you need to be like...banned? idk
