I really need to lose weight.. I'm going on holiday with my mates in about a month and I can't bear to wear a bikini but we will be sunbathing and i feel like I have no alternative without my insecurities being really obvious.

I've tryed dieting but I really dont like almost all fruits/ vegetables, and I will keep my diet for half a day then binge eat. Often becuase I am so upset, I feel so empty, not hungrey, just empty, but I try and fill this with food, becuase I don't know what else, I have tried so hard to stop cutting, this is the ony other option. I have tried excersise to lose weight but i feel so down some days I can't drag myslef out of bed or anything.

How to lose weight.. please help !

For you, i would suggest a doctor, in your state of mind, no excercise or food change will make you lose weight alone.

you need to be honest with yourself, measure your weight and your height, and put them into an online bmi calculator, this will give you are number and a chart. if you fall into either the 'underweight' or 'healthy' range, then please do not try anything to lose weight...if you fall into 'overweight' then you need to remember that extreme dieting/fasting etc. is not the way to lose weight, i suggest talking to a health professional or at least your parents before trying anything to lose weight.

Like truth said a doctor or counsellor would be the best option to sort of find out why you feel this way and how you can change it.
But to help you diet, you could try and binge on healthy foods. If that is possible for you, like Carrot etc.. they are negative calories, so if you binge on them it wont count. Or do a day on day off thing, You diet one day and then eat what you want but in moderation the next day or have one treat at the end of the day. It could stop you from binging if you think "I can eat something yummy later/tomorrow"
But I do strongly recommend the doctor/counsellor thing.

see a doctor and ask about healthy dieting that fits what you like and EXERCISE
