I got a job offer

Totally out of the blue.

I walked into this pizza store, kinda tired, waiting for my mom to come in. A guy working there, presumably the manager, striked up a conversation with me. It was just small talk, and then he asked me what grade I was in, I responded with 7, and he asked how old I am, I told him I was 13. The next thing he said shocked me. And I quote..... "If you ever want to work here, come talk to me.". It was weird, as I don't THINK I did anything to give off a mature vibe, maybe I was walking with a swagger, or something.

I just figured I should post my job offer on here, just because I thought it might make for an interesting read, because I know it made for an interesting day.

Don't know about your country, but usually you have to be at least 14, usually 15-16+ in the US.

I had a job at thirteen. I had to be paid on a different basis and the paperwork had to be done differently.

Gratz, Matt! Obviously the pizza guy has good judgement! And, no one ever really sees themself as others do, so eventhough you might not think you were sending a vibe, he saw some qualities in you worth mentioning!

That's pretty cool. I think it takes some pretty impressive stuff to be offered a job.
BUT, be careful at a pizza place (delivering). That could be really dangerous. Seriously.
