ok ok ok I don't think it is an "eating disorder"... but I find it strange:
I eat a lot (and for "a lot" I mean "I eat all the time, during the day but at school") but I am not fat at all!! my BMI is 16 and that means I'm very underweight because it should be 18!!! I'm 1.86 tall and my weight is 52 Kgs... I haven't got any thenia because I did exams so I don't know why could that be possible... when I am naked opposite the mirror I see a skeleton... and I don't like it at all... what do you think I should do? thanks in advance

Dude.your metabolism is probably higher than the supposed average for people our age. Personally my bmi is 13.7,im 5ft 9. So it probably is just your metabolism (btw metabolism is basically how quickly your body burns fat) erm,if you really have a problem with it,then i suggest you work out and add muscle,it wont affect your metabolism, but it would make you beefy, and if you are into it,it would make you look 'good'.but dont overdo it.
Otherwise.what you want is protein.lotsa protein-meat, fish,eggs,chicken...
And you should gain weight.
Hope this helps dude.good luck.

Definitely has to do with your metabolism. If you eat a lot and you're underweight, chances are you eat a lot of small meals very quickly and it thus hyperaccelerates your metabolism. Take your time when eating and it'll slow down.

Also, if you play any sports, you may be burning a lot of carbs. That, in turn, will make you thinner. When you sweat, you burn carbs, so try to avoid sweating if at all possible.

And if you're a vegetarian, that might also have to do with it. Your diet may have a strong impact on it if you don't get a lot of roughage.

There's a lot of other factors that could come into play, but tell me if any of those are on the money.

This should be in the health section, not Eating disorder section.

This can often be because of a very high metabolism which digests the food quickly. Also, if you are very active, you usually eat a lot to energize your body.

Eat more and go the gym and start some weight training it will help you to bulk up and look less skinny. It worked for me :)

the BMI is not a set rule. It is merely a guideline.

I'm the same way. I eat and eat and eat, and I"m still uber skinny. My BMI is 15. The way I see it, if you are healthy, don't worry about it.

But, if you want to change it, then you can. You need to eat a lot of meat, a lot of protein. Eat a bunch when you do eat, like, gut busting full. You need to exercise too. It'll be hard, but that's how you gotta do it.

It is about one thing: metabolism. Like a teenagers our metabolism is very fast, so it makes us burn calories very quick and that's why (in your case) you are not fat. I have the same situation, I eat a lot and I'm not fat. I'm very skinny, in addition, I don't do exercise.

It may be worth me adding that a BMI is not always 'even' when you are growing at your fastest which is during teenage years - It will even out when you are fully grown.

Peanut butter. :)
It helps muscle development because of the mass of proteins.

You might just have really high metabolism.. What you need to do is eat protein and gain muscle so you won't look so skinny, since you don't like looking so skinny

You're lucky. Work out, and get some muscles, start off with slow sessions and dont push yourself, so you'll see some muscle instead of bones.
