Well, I bought their latest albulm three years ago ("The Open Door") and it was good, but most of the songs had the same 'grindy, gothic' sound - they seemed to all merge together, with a few exceptions; Lithium and track #02 (can't remember what it's called). But overall, I like them, the lead singer's voice is perfectly suited for the music, when she hits the high notes I get chills.

I think you're wrong.

As much as I like the band, their songs sound too much the same. Amy Lee does have a very nice voice but it's almost always the same sound, same theme, same mood, many topics of the songs are the same or very similar. As consistent as it is, which is not always a negative, have something with more variability. To me, that is what they're lacking last time I heard them and that's one main reason why I don't particularly care for them.

It's like hearing a mediocre joke once, it's funny then. But after several times (or songs), it's not really exciting.

You'll have to elaborate, what exactly do you mean by a "haunting effect"? Does it stick in your head? Does it make you sad? Does it bring up memories?, etc... I'm not sure what you're getting at.

shes soo hott and like has a really good voice

I have listened to it already, multiple times actually otherwise I would not have given my opinion of it. When I listened to it, I didn't get any feeling of anything getting into my "soul"/"spirit"/etc... .

No idea but you can use the magic workings of Google and find that out yourself, can you not?
