I am gay and I was wondering about how gay guys live their life. Like what are some of their favorite hobbies, clothing & underwear, music interest. I want to be able to relate. Post some info on how you live your live including some of the things mentioned above.

Sorry for being a girl with an opinion on this, but stereotyping much?

Anyone who's gay is JUST ANOTHER PERSON. Just as varied as "normal" people.

Well all gays like to wear Boxer-Briefs. All gays listen to Cher. All gays like to swim and participate in Interpretive dance.

All straight people wear boxers. All straight people like Metallica. All straight people like football and all straight people like to go boating.

Those last two paragraphs sound ridiculous because not all straight people like to do those things the same way not all gay people like to do those things. Not all gays lead the same life style so you are trying to learn about something that dosnt really exist.

The way to relate is to realize that gays are people like you and have the same emotions as you. Everyone is different no matter the sexual orientation. I know that you want to understand "us" but there is no "us' to understand. You can only understand people not groups.

The bottom line is that each gay person is different just like straight people.

There is no gay lifestyle. If you took all the gays in the world, only a small percentage would be the same. They are people, regardless of sexual preferences. Liking men doesn't make you any different than someone who only likes girls, other than sexually.

Dont be one in a crowd, be yourself. There is alot of sterotypical people out there, and lots are just so they can be known who they are and some are that way naturally.

Well let's see.
I'm gay and I like boxers. But I wear boxer briefs when I want don't want dangling!
I sing in choir and play piano and violin. I LOVE to play music.
I dress casually because I can't afford anything else.
My favorite music is basically everything, especially if it's catchy and fun.
My favorite color changes every minute basically.
My friends are more than half of my life.
I love thunderstorms and rain.
I love to laugh and I like Family Guy, Robot Chicken, The Simpsons, American Dad, Scrubs, etc and everything else that's funny, plus shows about serial killers and mystery deaths and Desperate Housewives.
I hate Perez Hilton, and I don't like Cher

(if you don't want to watch it, the point is that all of the guys in the video are gay and they all like different things because they're <insert their name here>, not because they're gay.)

Well, I'm a straight guy, but from my perspective, the gays I know are as varied in their likes and dislikes as the hets I know. So, there's no 'gay lifestyle'. Just likes and dislikes determined by experience and preference and culture, and the like.

We are all much more than our sexuality, it's really only a part of who we are, it doesn't define us (or our 'lifestyle').

Yeah, as said before everyone is different. We all have different interest, different orefrences, and such so just be yourself. Don't listen to rap if you dont like it, and yeah just be yourself it's the key to a healthy lifestyle.

I dress casual, I hate football, I hang out with friends half the day. I hate shopping, I play xbox I like rock bands etc. But that's me.

But there is no gay culture anymore then north korea isn't firing nuclear weapons

Well i´m starting to consider myself gay. I can´t tell you how to live your life just because you are gay but here´s what most gays do:

1. I agree with the boxer briefs
2. Cher is a must (my favorite singer) and Madonna. Dance music is big.:yeah:
3. Wear some tight clothes i guess.
4. Maybe watch some Will & Grace. Awesome show btw.

Also remember that you should just live on what makes you happy. You dont have to follow a certain lifestyle because of who you are. Good Luck my friend:)
