well first ask her why shes cuting there has to be a reason, seccond tell her why its bad to cut ie, infection/scars third have her clean out the wounds with water and some type of medical cleaner if stiches are needed get them and keep wounds covered with mandade and put neosporen on them then give allternitives to cuting ie yelling whrieing things down talking to a friend riping up paper takeing a nap music and if she contunes tell her parents trust me my old gf told my mom and it made me get better i was a cuter and i know how it effected the people around me
she will get better with your suportt
i wish you all the best

hi Aaron,
First, an apology, I know I owe you a chat, I've been out of town and really busy. Let's catch up over the weekend.
OK. I think you need to take care of yourself here first, and make sure her cutting isn't influencing your cutting. There's this contagion effect, when people are with others who have similiar *issues*, it makes it more likely they'll act on those *issues*. Please guard against that, you're of no use to her if you're cutting too, you lose credibility.
I think her cutting is a very serious thing, and like any serious thing that requires professional intervention AND is potentially life threatening, you really need to let her know directly of your concersn and your desire to help her stop. If she cannot commit to you right there to stop, then you should tell her that owing to your concerns for her safety and well being, you have to tell her folks. And then do it.
You can't take responsibility for another's life, Aaron. But what you can do is everything in your pwoer to involve others who might be in a better position to exert their influence and help her stop this dangerous behavior, starting with her parents. It's not snitching, it's helping her control these self destructive urges by involving others who can assist her (and get her to the right people who can fix this).

I am getting an appointment today at the doctors, and i will do as you say, i am concerned for her as i really reallly like her, and dont want her beautiful body to be scarred as heavily as mine.

Well she dumped me today, but that doesn't mean a thing, i'm still gonna get her away from this addiction! :)

Ouchies, Aaron, sorry she dropped you. but, it sounds like she's got a whole lot going on, probably distracting her, not the best time to be involved, so don't take it personally.
I still like the idea of you taking care of Aaron first.

Yeah, thanks sam! After i am done with the exams and she has been able to calm down again, i'm going to ask her out again, so she can make a calm thought through decision. If she says no then, then i will still help her, and everything but we just wont have that close relationship that i was looking for originally! :)
So hopefully she will say yes after we have calmed down. Also day 11 no cuts, and i am at school with a short sleeve t-shirt for the first time in5 months ^_^
