Must I be forced to live alone
abandoned on life's lonely shore?
This is my destiny? Perhaps,
though in all truth I hope for more.

Imagine if some day it seems
love, true love, has come to me.
Oh, then happiness I'll find,
very full my heart will be.

Every day I dream of love
yet still true love passes by.
One day I pray that love will come,
until then, alone, I sigh.

Glad you like it, not one of my best. I found this one very difficult. Its written to a pattern, certainly, therein was the difficulty. It conveys a simple message for all to see.

I actually meant pattern as in all your poems all being really great and beautiful :)
