When you feel that it's right and that you really love that person and they feel the same way towards you.

Just wait until you are married. That's what I think. Because if you really love the person, why not just get married first anyways? And you have to be able to deal with having a kid if you (or your partner) get pregnant from it. So it's best to be married.

I don't see why you need to be married to have sex but you should do it only when you know that you are commited to the person that you are having sex with.

There is no right or wrong age to lose your virginity at. As long as you are ready to do so and you are not doing it for stupid pathetic reasons like looking cool to your mates. If you are considering sex, make sure you know about contraception, laws on age of consent, risks like sexually transmitted diseases.

Whenever you're ready and old enough enough to deal with consequences that may result from it, and also understand everything that goes in to it.

In my opinion; as long as you're 15+ and you're committed to your boyfriend/girlfriend.

I answered I don't know, because none of the other answers fit my answer.
In my opinion, you should lose your virginity when you are ready and old enough to take on the responsibility for the possible consequences of sex, mainly being pregnancy, but including others. I say after college because what college student has the money or time to worry about a baby? I'm not saying you have to wait until marriage though. I'd say somewhere between 18 and 22 is a good time to lose your virginity.

whenever it feels right, with the right person. i dont think age is a biggie if you use protection.

that's not illegal unless her bf is 18 or older. maybe it's even younger in england?

It honestly has nothing to do with love. It has everything to do with maturity. If you're mature enough to handle what's going on and what it could lead to, then I think you're ready. If you can't hear the word penis without giggling, don't even think about it.
(but it's okay to giggle at epididymis. That's a silly word.)
Any certain age doesn't equal maturity for all people. So trying to put a time frame on when you should is pointless.

Unless her boyfriend is 16+ it's really not.
The legal age of consent may be 16+, but seriously, how many teenagers have you heard of being arrested/fined/slapped on the wrist by the Police for having underage sex?
I think age is important. I'm sorry, but many kids under 15/16 aren't rational nor mature enough about sex. Most don't know what they're risking besides pregnancy, and don't know how to use various protection methods, i.e. condoms and contraceptive medication, like the ECP.
Most teenage pregnancies below the age of consent are often done by 13 and 14 year-olds.. I wonder why. >_>
I don't think marital status is a big deal, though. Just as long as you're a certain age, and you're comfortable enough with your boyfriend/girlfriend, and actually bother to learn and use protection, then it's fine.

in uk it's illegal for any boy to have sex under 16 and 17 for girls and in some cases of this breach even if they're both underage the boy has been fined or even had a juvie sentence, it all really depends on the parents of the girl to be honest

In England the age of consent in the eyes of the law is 16 years old. It is illegal to have sex with someone under this age. In the eyes of the law it is 16 for both boys and girls, not 17 for girls as someone said above.
If two people are found to be having sex of cause the law will take all the circumstances into account, for example if a boy thought the girl was over 16 , if they have been in a relationship etc. This may affect the penalty for breaking the law.

I've read about something like that. Uh, yeah, it's an outdated law that isn't even enforced anymore and needs to be changed. But I never heard that the girl needs to be 17.
It's just like, theoretically, you can still be executed in the UK for killing a Police officer or the head of state (Queen), yet we abolished the death penalty nearly 50 years ago, now. Just an example of an outdated and unenforced law.

I think when you really find someone who you really like and it gets to where you love them, and you care about them and stuff. Whenever that may be, but it has gotta be at least in high school, cmon. Junior high sex? Stupid.
But if you're not looking for a serious relationship, yeah I guess that doesn't apply to you.

first of all, i am not 10. i'm almost 16 in fact. when i was 10 however, i did really like this girl. someone said it should be whenever you feel like it. does that mean i should have had sex with that girl even if i was ten years old?
and lastly, i'm not going to get in to this now but ten-year-olds have a pretty good understanding of love. whether they have a good understanding of sex... depends.

College.
I was really going to say "When you know it is the person you love and it is the right time" but that is too philosophical and general.
My general rule is after graduation of high school because usually people are mature enough to make adult decisions and sex is definietely a decision that is important and adult.

When we talk about love ... virginity makes no importance ... you should loose your virigity when you are ready to give your whole body and all you love to a person you fully respect and LOVE not for FUN
