Confucianism, Taoism?

From what I gather these two belief systems have no belief in god. Could I follow one of these and still be considered an atheist. I'm not very educated on either but I researched a little and I like the system I just don't believe in god, any god.

I just think of beliefs such as Confucianism, Taoism, Pantheism, and things of that nature to be more life-style choices or philosophies than actual religions.

It's like sexed-up atheism.
