Does she like me

Okay, there is this girl at school who use to be a mate with me, cute thing, but we had a small argument 4 years ago about something stupid but since have not really talked. She is a good mate with a couple of my friends. She is on my bus, as well as my mates and she normally sits by them on the bus and in class etc. and they talk around school break times.

I just get on with my mates like she gets on with them, we don't talk or anything I just stand around when she's about and sometimes join in on the convo but mostly talk to my other mate whilst she talks to the other.

Well recently I've been with my mates and she's throws a sly glance at me. When I catch her I look at her and then she looks away quickly. Same on the bus as well. I see her in the corner of my eye looking at me when nobody is talking to her/giving her attention. Sometimes I look back and she turns away. Also we both catch each other's eyes when in the corridor and when I walk past a class room where she is in.

Why is she doing this? Does she want to be mates? Does she fancy me? Does she look at me because she thinks there is something wrong with me? There is some sort of tension between us, I don't know what it is.

Well it's either that she likes you, she finds you attractive, or youre just beginning to notice that she looks at you a lot. I'd go with possibly the first two. When girls take a liking to someone, well this actually applies to everyone, they pay more attention to you! I think that both of you like each other, and your just noticing it. If you want to go ahead with this, maybe ask her if she wants to get something after school (foodwise probably), then, if you feel like it, ask her if she wants to go to the movies or on a date somewhere. That almost always works out well!

Thanks for that.. but I think both of us are to shy to say something or take it further. I will look stupid if I took it further and she doesn't want to know, then my friends will probably laugh at me :lol:

Just unsure... also she started talking about her EX BF once to my friend.. she was quite loud in saying it in front of us. She was saying how 'lush' he was and how cool and nice he is ... even though he is her EX.

Every one, in my opinion, feels stupid when asking someone anywhere. If it makes you feel more at ease try having one of your mates come with you first ask her to somewhere. That will makes feel a bit more casual. This would be like when y'all went for pizza or something. Then when you feel more comfortable with her, try just you and her. Also, talk to her at school, on the bus, etc

I don't think I would take one of my mates to ask... still not sure what to do.

I don't know if she's after friendship or something more serious... but either will do for me
