I'm so confused!!!

ok, most of you have probably read my other threads about my ex boyfriend. well, he and i have one class together, 4th hour. at my school 4th hour is 75 minutes because thats when lunch is so its the longest class period. well, today after lunch i was standing with my friends will Call them Gregg and Michael. and my ex, Jared, came up and started talking to Gregg. Then he walked past Michael and touche his shoulder and i said, "Don't let him touch you Michael, you might get AIDS." now on any other day he'd have some smart mouth comback for me.. but he just walked away. Back in class our eyes caught for the longest minute ever. Now, i didn't get a glare or a scowl or anything like that. i got a sad puppy dog face. i don't get this at all. he has a girlfriend and i'm so confused. help please? maybe guys can decifer his thinking process.. btw- i miss him like crazy but he doesn't know that.

why would you say that to Michael?
If you "miss him", but make such a rude insult?

OBVIOUSLY, he was hurt but your comment.
most of the time we always get lingering feelings for an ex, just like you have them for him. Obviously that insult hit home, not because it's true, but because you said it.

i really think he wants to talk to you again he wants to try to be ur friend he most likely just wants to talk that's all and he was prob hurt by the comment so maybe start with and apology

well, i tried apologizing, but i know he doesn't want to be my friend. its a hate-hate relationship anymore. we say shit about each other all the time.. so, i don't know. but i DID apologive. and i told Michael that because Jared always says stuff like that to me. i miss him like hell, but i know if i just straight out say, "jared i miss you" he'll laugh his butt off at me. so, i don't know what to do

ok, the thing is.. we never talk face to face anymore because.. well, i don't know. so the only way i can reach him is if i call/text him... and i already tried texting him and apologizing but that got me nowhere. besides, he has a girlfriend.

well i think you should stop the insults for one thing and just stay being his friend. It may hurt cause you want to go back out with him but time heals. obviously the first time you guys went out didnt work so dont put yourself throught that again. I know how it feels to take someone back its never the same, also you will proally have less respect for yourself if you do go back with him.
