This is from the BBC news web site. Thank God he's managed to sort something out. Don't suppose he comes on here, but if he does - Good luck mate.

Teenage diving star Tom Daley has enrolled at a public school in Plymouth after claims of bullying at his former state school.

Talks were held between the 15-year-old's parents and Plymouth College after claims of bullying at Eggbuckland Community College emerged in April.

Tom, from Plymouth, was on the British team in Beijing and won silver at the World Series in Sheffield.

Plymouth College said it had agreed a substantial scholarship for Daley.

Eggbuckland Community College said that its policy was to deal firmly with bullying.

'Extraordinary potential'

Daley said that his success had led to "name calling, someone chucking a bit of paper at you, tipping your pencil case out".

Daley, who scooped a gold medal at an international competition in Florida last month, said: "I'm really looking forward to going to Plymouth College and being with other young people who understand the pressures of high-level competition."

Dr Simon Wormleighton, headmaster of Plymouth College which prides itself on its water sports, said: "We are delighted that Tom has joined the school."

He said the school would help Daley fulfil his "extraordinary potential in the pool" while keeping on top of his academic studies.

He added: "We also have an excellent pastoral network in place with staff on hand to provide help and support in all aspects of school life."

Katrina Borowski, Principal of Eggbuckland Community College, said: "We are very sorry that Tom is leaving our college and wish him every success in his education, his diving and for the future."

Good. I'm glad. Lets hope he won't give up on the diving.

It really annoys me that he was forced to leave hid old school in the first place by the bastard that bullied him, I mean why the hell did they bully him in the first place?

Because they are jealous.

And I think that the kid that was bullying him should just have been suspended. Thats what they do here. I don't think that moving schools was all that necessary from the reports I have read. But I am sure everything that goes on isn't reported.

Yes, my school has a suspension program for dealing with it. Too bad he had to change schools. :(
