View Full Version : Having sex for the first time?

After having sex for the first time do you feel or act more mature? Does it change anything in your life? Does it make a difference? Does it make you different? I'm quite confused on that, plus I wanted to know if you have oral sex and for example I would do a cunnilingus to the girl can I get an STD?
Where do STD's come from? And If I can get and STD from a cunnilingus then how to do this without getting an STD? It's not like a woman can use a condom? And what if she does the fellatio (aka blowjob) to me? Can I get an STD or can only she get one? I'm quite confused. Helpful answers much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

well i can only answer some of them .. i have never has sex so .. i dunno how it maes you feel after

Now ...

I dunno either what a cunnilingus is ...

But a woman can wear a condom .... you can get an std or sti from any type of sex ... even if it is oral ... you can both take an sti (considering one of you is already infected with one) and if by cunninligus you mean like her vagina and stuff if she has an std well then you can get an std anyway

hope i helped a bit

I guess the first time you have sex it may make you feel a bit more grown up afterwards, and you sort of want to puff your chest out and say "look at me, I've had sex", but really theres no lasting change.

You can get STI's from either giving (cunnilingus) or receiving (felatio) oral sex with a girl, generally from contact with bodily fluids. The girl would have to already have an STI for you to be able to catch it.

If she gives you a bj you could have a condom on. Personally I can never see the attraction in that, but if you're eating out there's not really any protection available.

Hope that answers your questions

Where do STD's come from? They are diseases that some are born with, that are transmitted sexually.
And If I can get and STD from a cunnilingus then how to do this without getting an STD? Yes you can, you can get things like genital/oral herpes. (skin contact diseases) The only prevention is to make sure thy don't have one.
It's not like a woman can use a condom? There are female condoms but I don't know how effective they are at preventing STDs
And what if she does the fellatio (aka blowjob) to me? Same as above; you can get skin contact diseases but you can possibly prevent it with a condom.
Can I get an STD or can only she get one? She can get all kinds of sexual transmitted diseases, you can only get skin contact sexually transmitted diseases. (Unless she has AIDS with a cut in her mouth, and you have a cut on your penis, the blood could mix theoretically)

Thanks for the answers hey helped and cleared out the confusion a little bit. So by all of the above I understand that if the girl is healthy and she has no STD's then I cannot get infected with one because neither she or I have it?

And it would be nice if anyone could answer my questions on this:

After having sex for the first time do you feel or act more mature? Does it change anything in your life? Does it make a difference? Does it make you different?

Thank you. :)

Thanks for the answers hey helped and cleared out the confusion a little bit. So by all of the above I understand that if the girl is healthy and she has no STD's then I cannot get infected with one because neither she or I have it? Correct. STDs don't just appear out of nowhere because you have sex.

Sorry, I can't answer the other questions, I have not had sex.

I'm still as immature as I was before sex :p

Um, if the girl has, say, herpes for example, you CAN get that if you perform cunnilingus. But it would be around your face. In fact, all the herpes virus causes is a cold sore. But you can get it.

A good generalization about the spread of STDs is that if there is any fluid exchange, then both parties are at risk of catching an STD. But, obviously, one party has to already have the STD.

And on female condoms, they only prevent pregnancy, there is still the same risk of catching a STD as there is without a female condom.

I just wanted to clarify that I don't see any attraction in a bj myself too, I personally wouldn't want my gf to do such a thing but this is a 25 year old girl and well she wants to do it so I don't mind otherwise if I had a gf and I loved her I wouldn't do this unless she really really wanted to.

Rep+ Great info, made me a little less paranoid. :)

And overall about the maturity thing I was just wondering if it changes you any how or if you stay the same just with extra added experience in something you've never done before. :)

Well I can't take credit for the "fluid exchange" tip, that was my health teacher from last year. FUNNIEST MAN ALIVE!!

and on the maturity thing, sure you feel a little bit more mature, and ur friends that are virgins but don't plan on waiting will be worshipping the ground you walk on. But ur really not any more mature: nothing about ur body changes (unless u get an STD), so it's pretty much just an extra experience

I know it is a late reply - I remember my first time quite well and one thing is that something deep inside me regrets it. I am 14 (which was also the age) and I had just came back of Holiday and It was the longest me and my girlfriend had ever been away from each other. We just got talking and then something just random happened and then later that evening it hit me what that random thing was. To be honest - if you are going to have sex - make sure it is with a person you really love and know and always feel like you can tell somebody if you are not sure about something
