I know how you feel, my friend is doing that to me too, and it really hurts; I want to try talking to her about it cos I don't know if she realises... maybe you should try that too, just saying how she's making you feel, and explaining that it's not that easy to stop?

I learned not to make promises like that to my friends, I've broken several of those promises. It's hard, I'm sorry. Your friend needs to realize that you can't just decided to stop by making a promise - I found that makes it harder, there is more pressure if you promise not to.

Instead of saying it, it got my best friend concerned more than mad and I was too afraid to say it to her and she'd asked. But what ever is easiest for you. You could just simply tell her sorry andd leave it at that.

I wouldn't tell someone who's a big mouh - they will most likely tell people.
One of my friends saw the cut on my wrist afterI went to a mental hospital for a few hours for it and she screamed in the class room that it was stupid for me to cut. So I'donly tell someone you know you can trust: not a teacher, bc they are required by law to alert authorities.
