that is a good question, it can be due to having a full bladder, but can also be part of a normal cycle of erections that happen throughout out the night which can be caused but increased heart rate. Its normal a lot of men have them, and there so much fun :D

The blood rushes to your penis to create a boner. In the morning, you just wake up, so your blood will start flowing more. It doesn't matter if you are naked or not.

ACTUALLY, the penis when limp is actually tense. when it is erect it is at its most relaxed time. When you sleep you are relaxed, thus you mainly wake up every morning with a hard on. It does not matter whether you sleep naked or with clothing.

I agree. I don't think it matters whether you're wearing clothes or not, it just happens.

yep i cant remember the last time i woke up without one... it really sucks, especially at sleepovers. and i have no idea why it happens, but i'll go with what allenmac12 said. and it doesnt matter to me whether i have clothes on or not

allenmac12 - wrong way round. When your penis is loose and limp it is relaxed, when erect it is tense. The penis is made up of cylinder like chambers. When you get aroused the brain sends a signal and your heart rate increases to increase the blood flow, valves in the blood vessels leading to these chambers open wide to let lots of blood into your penis, other valves close to stop blood escaping, so your penis becomes hard. Like those sausage balloons when you blow into them. If you were to stay hard for a long time your genitals would get sore. When you start puberty you can get excited enough to get a boner from just about anything, not just thinking about sex. The content of your dreams is enough to give you a boner. Some guys even wank off in their sleep. After a few years it all settles down and you stop getting boners all the time.
