My friend told me that she doesn't talk to this one guy because he cuts...she doesn't talk to people like him...well I am like him...it upset me...

Is it possible that she thinks he does it for attention?
If so then it could be that she just doesn't like to associate with people who have to be the center of attention and not necessarily all people who self harm.

no he doesn't do it for attention...and he has stopped cutting...so...she is referring to the guy he used to be...and it just pissed me off this morning....and I just wanted to scream at her...but I didn't

tell her she shouldn't judge people on cutting or not, especially if he has stopped doing it

Confronting her on this issue won't result in anything good.

Take some time to soothe yourself and deal with the emotions you are experiencing.
Then just carry on with your life. Distancing yourself from her may be a beneficial step to take and don't reveal the difficulties you are having (depression, self harm etc) to her.

Yeah, I am thinking that distance between us is probably a good thing right now. I haven't told her anything in a long time...about my problems...and I suspect that she may be the one that told everybody that I cut...It just hurts because we used to be really close...and it makes me really mad that she would say something so insensitive...
