i think it has something to do with the stupid fact that boys are considered cool if they have sex with loads of chicks, but girls are considered whores if they sleep with lots of guys

Along with the things already mentioned, i think it also is because of a basic distrust in males, they dont trust us not to be sexual about it, that is my understanding anyway...
