(May 26) -- A 62-year-old man in Melvindale, Mich., died on Memorial Day after a fight with his 42-year-old daughter over food, according to local media reports.
When police arrived at the home, the found the man alive, but he was later pronounced dead at a hospital in Dearborn, The Detroit News reported
Police believe the man was attacked after an argument with his daughter over some dinner rolls. The man had been stabbed, according to WDIV-TV, which has a video report from the scene. A gun was also involved in the argument, police said.
Police found the daughter hiding in woods behind the home. She was arrested and is considered a suspect, police said.
Some neighbors told WDIV that they had seen the daughter behaving erratically in the past, though they hadn't noticed any prior conflicts between her and her father.
