Help!

Ok I've liked this girl since we first met - Really early YR1.
I havn't had a break from liking her, so it's been years straight,
and I've been her friend for years!
We started in a small vollage school, where I was the second oldest in
my year for most of the time, and she was one of the youngest in her year.
(I think) She's about 8 months older than me, but that doesnt bother me.

My problem is, every1 thinks I'm the confident one, and that I say
everything thats on my mind, but I've only ever told three of my friends that I like her, and then, being paranoid they'd tell her, said I didn't like her anymore three days later.
I'm always thinking about her, and havn't liked anyone else a fraction as much as I like her.

I have no idea how I'll ever ask her out...

personally id just ask her out worst she can say is no. If you want you could ask her out via im if she has one then if she says no you can tell her it was a joke.

Try and spend some more alone time with her. Sometime when her friends are away just start hanging out with her. Something I would do (change my scenario anyway you want, it could be a different subject or whatever) would start talking about movies with her. See if you guys are both looking forward to a movie and say something like "hey we should go see that together!"
Of course it doesn't have to be a movie. Could be anything. Hope I helped somewhat!

hmm, maybe dont say its a joke, she could get the assumption your a jerk for that. You could say it was a dare?
