Weird Fetish

I just wonder if my fetish is really weird :P . I get turned on every time I see girls at my age barefooted, or in shoes that not covers the whole foot, and even if they're in shorts and I can see the legs. Is that really weird, or normal? I get so confused! :confused:

It's normal. Some people have a foot fetish. Fetishes can never be weird, although some of them can be looked down on if you act them out, but a foot fetish isn't one of them. Completely normal.

whatever turns you on is your business. there's really no right and wrong with your fetishes. in my mind, your fetish could be chicks holding up dead racoons and it wouldnt be "wrong".

technically, the only "wrong" fetish is a fetish for animals or small children, and those aren't REALLY wrong unless acted upon.

as to how normal your foot/leg fetish is, i would say its a pretty normal one. i wouldn't be surprised if lots of people had that same fetish. ironically, i also know a lot of people who are totally turned off by feet.

so it depends on the person.

Maybe I'm being too technical, but I only consider something a true 'fetish' if it is non sexual, and it's presence is required for sexual gratification. That's different than an 'attraction', or a 'turn on'. Which is what you've got here.

Typically, anything that's 'bare' can be exciting b/c it's, well, naked. And naked is sexy. So, when you see bare legs it's arousing, b/c legs are a part of the body (and close to the genitals), and they're usually covered up. So, when you see them bare, it's arousing, b/c you associate them with sex.

Putting aside the literal definition of a "fetish" for a moment, the reality is that a foot fetish is the most common one out there, and you are hardly abnormal in this area. I agree with the posters above that as long as your fetish doesn't involve anything illegal (child porn) or anything immoral (sex involving someone who is doing so against their will), then a fetish is all right for the most part. It is basic commonsense as to whether a fetish is "bad" or "good," and as long as your fetish doesn't hurt yourself or others, then I don't see a problem with it.

As for the origins of a foot fetish, I read somewhere that there is a theory that the somatosensory cortex of the brain that the feet and genitals occupy adjacent areas. For folks with a foot fetish it is believed that the wiring in the brain gets mixed up causing folks with a foot fetish to find feet attractive.

When you eventually get a partner, then if you choose to let her know about your fetish as you two become really close just make sure she is all right with it. Clearly, if she doesn't like folks touching her feet, then respect her feelings.

Technically it is not weird. Lots of people have foot fetishes.
I don't understand why you get turned on when some girls feet are oogly lol :P but umm whatever floats your boat, just as long as you don't go crazy with it, you should be fine and normal.
