hey everyone, i promaced a guy i wouldnt cut but i cant help it. this morning i had a breakdown, i changed my cutting area's i now cut - wrist legs and arms. it's really bad and its only a matter of time before somebody notices now.

Okay, what you need to do is just tell him that its hard for you to stop or however you feel just come out to him if he loves you he will still love you either way if he doesn't hes not the guy for you. I'm a guy and I would still love you.

ok tell him how ur struggling and its not that easy just to QUIT s/h like that. he should understand if he really loves you (im pressuming your goin out withhim) you need to tell someone who can get you real help bcuz u cant do it alone x

If you really like this guy, and want to respect his wishes (which are very reasonable) then you just need to separate yourself from your razors/self harm inflictors, and put all your triggers to your depression into other things. Find your happiness in him, while trying alternative ways to cope. (those alternative ways should not hurt in anyway ;) )

If you feel as if you can't help it, obviously your own habits are more important than this guy or any promise you could make to him. The last sentence makes me believe that you want someone to see them, so you may as well just tell someone it's a problem for you.

he'll respect you more for coming and telling him then if you hide it and he finds out he'll be really annoyed if you try to conceal it.
