Does anybody feel like this when they're liked?

If, you are liked, do you ever feel closer to them? Like, me and this girl talked quite a bit and, she was rather smart and she acknowledged all my strengths and smartness all the time and, nobody has ever really done that, it made me feel good in myself and, her personallity is great. Anyways, her looks isn't, great but they're good, at first I didn't think she's my type but, after some time when we liked each other, her, looks become kind of, irrelevant and I became to really like what she looked like.

Is this because I like her personallity or I begin to realise, she really is my type?

There is this, one issue though. She's in Sydney and I'm in Adelaide, she said if we stayed friends for quite a while, she'll find a way to come down and meet me. Is it bad that we mainly speak over the net?

I know people say the internet is bad and it's full of pedos, I can tell you right now, she isn't one. I won't go into the contriversay about the internet.
