I guess I just have to vent alot of crap.

Well, to start off im your text book gay guy; i walk the walk, talk the talk. I'm so gay i don't even think straight. No matter how god damn hard i try i cant change this, i wish i were straight sometimes. I just want to be treated like a normal guy, and not be the token gay guy.

I'm not sure about Europe & the US but being a gay 15 year old in Australia is HELL.

Very few people accept me.

At school i experience A LOT of crap. I get called "gay c*nt", "poofter" (Australian slang for fagget), "gay fag", "c*ck sucker" etc all day everyday. I get food thrown at me, I get spat on and threatened. I was bashed last year and again this year and im constantly getting death threats. No straight guy will talk to me or even come near me so im left hanging with girls; I have been told that most guys are scared to be my friend because others might think their gay. This all angers me SOOO much!

And the surprising thing is that I haven’t even come out of the closet yet…

I really want to just prove that im just a normal guy, like how do I make myself more appealing to straight guys? Like to be their friend etc

Stories like yours are always so unsettling, it reminds us how abusive some people can be. I'm sorry you're going thru this, it's really unacceptable. It's bigotry at it's basest. I wouldn't hesitate to inform the school authorities about it, either. They are certainly in the best position to act on these misdeeds which occur in school. And, by stopping the daily torment, not only will it (hopefully) give you some space from it, but also, in that space, for other people to experience you differently, without the fear of retribution from the *others*.

In that space, i'd recommend you be yourself, make the effort to show people who you are. You (all of us, really, regardless of our sexuality) are really more than sexuality or orientation. Show them those qualities that make you 'like them', your abilities and talents as a person. Minimize the 'gayness', play that down, it's irrelevant in school anyway, and certainly while maikng other friends with more casual interests.

This might be hard for you given how burnt you must feel, to come out of your social shell. There's some risk and vulnerability, but if you can get past that (and get the school staff to be far more aggressive in protecting you), I think you have a chance here, remember that most teenagers have a ten minute attention span anyway, so they'll forget all the taunts if you can get that to stop.

Good luck, and if all else fails, remember that adolescence is mercifully temporary, and adults are far saner.

thanks for the advice :)

i once did tell the school and stuff, unfortunately it ended up with "gay c*nt" being spray painted on my front wall one night and then 2 weeks later a guy chucked some fire bomb thing at my dads car :(

so i've learnt to not complain to the school

Your situation really does sound extreme, this sounds much more like a bias crime, which is illegal. So, I think you should handle this as you would any other crime you've been victimized by: Involve your parents, go to the authorities, go to the police, and apply enough pressure to make them intervene and make this stop.

You need to create space for yourself here that's safe, there's no reason to be subjected to violence of this sort. Your first priority should be to enlist the help of those who are in a position to make this stop. Until that happens, I think it will be difficult for the rest of the school to take the (unfortunate) risk of being nice to you, for fear of retribution. Take care of yourself here by informing the proper authorities of the extent of this torment.

It always surprises me how much other places are so homophobic. People just don't care in England. It's really disgusting the way these people treat you and all i can say is that if your left hanging out with girls, then hang out with girls. If they keep throwing food at you, tell your headteacher or a teacher or your mum or dad or even a close friend. They may not be able to help but it feels good to vent your feelings.
Yeah, well, if all else fails move to a remote part of the world where you can live in seclusion and keep a diary of your thoughts in the wild.
But only if all else fails.

I feel the same alot.. I want to be fully straight but I'm just not :( I just like guys unfortunatly. Only 2 of my friends know about my biosexuality so it's not too much of a problem.

Wow this is soo harsh, In america bi and gay is more accepted in my opionion becuase i am bi and i have straight guy friends and no body really cares they all treat me the same. I have a gay friend and he is soooo popular with a lot of people and he actually gets in fights if people mess with him and he always wins his defends himself a lot and like EVERYONE likes him.
Maybe you should consider moving to america or to another part of the world, where you live it sounds like hell and the people who do those things to you are soo ignorant, stupid, immature, ass holes, so dont worry about those ass holes.
