one off date.....help

heres the story.....

me and my best friend - we were lovers for a gd while, we are best friends with each other. i love her to BITS (literally)......she says she would go with me again, but to be honest I dont think I want to go through the pain of breakin up again.
I was thinkin of bringin her out on a date for valentines night. I dont know if she would come with me and I dont know how i should put it to her. it would only be a once off thing................help!

well, first of all, you have to admit or do something to show that your willing to put out for her. that you love her so much, that your willing to do anything for her. but also, because you love her so much, but cant take the break up, look her straight in the eye and just say what comes to mind. now, i know break ups suck giant ass monkey, but you have to show that you dont want to break up, and that ur ready to love her more than ever. and if you dont think u can handle the heart ache, then dont.

I don't see why one more date wouldn't hurt. It could be like a sample as well to see if it would work again. Just mention to her, V-Day's coming up got any plans? Well if we're both not doing anything then maybe we could go out somewhere.
