Desktop Computer or Laptop?

Which do you generally use? Desktop Computer or Laptop?

For me, it's definitely now laptop. I used to use the desktop PC a lot though.

I use my desktop because I am a gamer. Though I dont have a laptop:P I entered a contest at Alienware to win a laptop so hopefully I can have a laptop.

I use my lappy for all my computing needs! Gaming, DVDs, internet, school. Also, and my my desktop is slower than molasses glued to a brick tied to a dead turtle (you can pick up an identical system for $99 at a local computer store.) =P

i think laptops are the best, except mine SUCKS so i have to resort to using our desktop sometimes *shudders*

and, sadly, the hard drive in mine just died and i cant get a new one ugh

I prefer to use a desktop because it's stationary. I don't have to worry about where I leave it or protecting it from other dangers. Although laptops my seem convenient, my desktop meets my needs with little trouble.

I use both, laptop is great for taking notes in class and stuff, but desktop is more powerful for playing games

I use laptops, although am saving up for a desktop for gaming.

I keep my laptop set up on my desk most of the time, but I love how I can pack it up and take it with me anywhere. Especially on vacation. I don't know what I would do without it in those 5+ hour car rides.

I've got both however I generally prefer using my Desktop since its solid and can sit for hours without losing concentration, plus my computer is much faster than my laptop!

i use my laptop when i dont wanna be in a small room, i wanna see the world, and watch tv. i use my desktop (maccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc) when i wanna do work or somthing. but my laptop is dieing so soon it will just be desktop :(

I use both. My desktop is currently at dad's so I use that when I'm there, and use my laptop when I go to bed. I have another desktop at mum's but I prefer to use my laptop here. My laptop is over two years old but I have upgraded it and it's still quick enough for what I use it for.

I have both, but my Laptop is much more useful and, most importantly, my own. So I don't have random programs which aren't mine etc.

Laptops; you can take them with you pretty much everywhere you go and you can use them off batteries although I hate doing that.

I have both.

I mainly use my PC because it is better.

I just purchased my notebook two weeks ago. I really enjoy using it but I can't do as lot of things on it that I can on my PC

I use both my laptop and my desktop. My desktop is buildt for gamming, although my laptop can do it too. I many use my laptop for projects and school work. or as another player to test things on over a lan game

I have a laptop that is not so much mobile, weighs near 4 kilo's with a 17.4 inch screen ^^

Well I have 2 Desktops and 2 laptops.
Each with (Mac desk mac laptop winXP, and ubuntu(Laptop))
But it depends n what I need them for.

I use both, usually depending what I need to use them for.

Mainly its desktop for game, movies, surfing the web etc and I use my laptop for work, when I am moving about.

As for operating systems, my desktop is windows vista and my laptop is duel boot of Linux and XP. It originally came with Vista installed but it gave me nothing but problems and did not work with a lot of my laptops programmes.
