Just friends!

Ok well my story is a have a guy friend who I used to go out with 2 years ago before I decided we were better off as friends. We have been friends ever since even though he constantly tells me he loves me which I have gotten used to and now ignore. The problem is everytime I'm with another boy he gets EXTREMELY jealous and will not leave my side. I have had people think we go out because of this and it get's annoying, he clings to me like we're together which leads some guys to think I'm unavaliable:mad: I have told him time and time again that we're are better off as friends and I don't want to be in a relationship with him, and he'll keep rambling on about how he loves me.

I told him I was in a friends with benefits relationship and now he's really upset at me and is pushing me to the limit before I have to go off. We constantly argue and I'm beginning to think about our friendship. I still would like to be friends with him, but if he keeps going on like this I think it's best for us to stop being friends.

Before it reaches that point I was wondering what advice I can get to get him to stop liking me so much and just see me as a friend?

Do you think we should end our friendship?

He doesn't seem to move on, I even tried to introduce him to other girl friends of mine (It didn't work:()

i think in situations like this when you have made the effort to remain friends, you have to be cruel to be kind. i see where he is coming from, if you are truly in love with someone it would hurt like hell to see them with someone else, but at the same time, you can't have a relationship if you aren't both in the same place like you guys are now. i think in this case you might need to temporarily end the friendship. it will hurt him without doubt, but the short term pain he suffers will turn into a long term gain because hopefully it would mean that he can move on and not live in hope that you will change your mind. i know it won't be easy doing this, especially since he is your friend, but it looks like you have explored every available avenue you can so i think this is the only way to go.
