Scars?

Okay, so I relapsed while trying to stop self harming, and i now have quite obvious red marks on my arm. I'm going on holiday 5 days and I dont want my family to see them so obvious, is there any way i could reduce at least the redness?

Some sort of make up would aid. Or you could just wear a long sleeve...:cool:

As BlueArmy said, you could use makeup, but it makes scars worse, and long sleeves are not a good idea because it's summer and your family will think something's up. What worked for me is a whole lot of cocoa butter cream, but you could use lotion too. You probably already knew this, but don't itch or scratch at the scars. Good luck.

the same thing happened to me in the easter holidays, i went to spain and it was REALLY hot, and i tried covering up but it was tooo hot so i just started wearing whatever and just kinda hiding a little from my parents and shit.

i got found out the next day but all i got was like 'why did you do this' said to me over and over for a coupla days and thats it.

well im usign e45 cream atm but it not relli workin.. try bio oil or something.. sudocrem is meant to be good aswell i heard.. but its relli hot where im livin atm and im just goin out in a vest top.. no1 has noticed yet.. wear bracelets and light make-up so it dont get worse:) x
