i was just wondering if it was true that sperm died if they aren't in a vagina!

That is not true, even thought, correct me if I'm wrong, sperm can die when you are older.......like in your sixties and seventies. But that's what I heard. But it doesn't have to be in a vagina, that's what masturbating is for! :D VAGINA FREE!

what i mean by sperm dying is if those particular sperm would not be able to impregnate a girl

They do die quite quickly if they aren't in a warm moist sustaining place like the vagina, or before ejaculation in the testes.

Well they can live outside the human body for some (probably short) period of time. Otherwise how wud sperm banks work?

Well, they obviously dont live in the vagina because you cant make a chick preggo everytime because most sperm die.

Better hope skywalker is piloting your spermies that day.

Well they can live outside the human body for some (probably short) period of time. Otherwise how wud sperm banks work?

In sperm banks they keep the sperm in warm moist places that help keep the sperm alive like a vagina, I would guess.
Otherwise it would die very quickly.

in pe wehad sex ed or whatever and they said sperm could live for either several hours or days before it actually died out but im not a 100% on the absolute ratios and so on.

If sperm is not in favourable conditions, aka, body temp, moist, etc., it will die very quickly outside the body.

They freeze your sperm in a sperm bank, and not all of them survive. Sperm can live up to four hours outside the testes.

Well, yes left outside of the body for too long wqithout anything keeping them alive, and yeah the sperm will die within a few hours. Also, sperm die even in the vagina, it's to keep the weak sperm away from the egg. Also, it's to keep deformed sperm away from the egg as well. You wouldn't want a sperm with 2 tails to impregnate a girl now. But once past the vagina sperm can live in a girl for 1 week at the most. So yeah, either way sperm will die eventually.

Is it possible to see sperm move when you ejaculate? Yes, has nothing to do with this thread, but just wondering.
