"Slut" and "whore."

In your opinion, what constitutes someone being labeled as one of those?

A whore is someone who takes money in return for providing some sort of sexual service.

A slut is someone who provides a large amount of sexual services. I'm not sure what the bare minimum for this large amount is, hence, why I try my best (although do fail sometimes) to not use it. To me, it's a word that most people have given some arbitrary meaning to (i.e. minimum amount of people given sexual services) or have given little thought to. One should also consider how much time passed between the sexual services, what the nature of them were, and who received them. All of that should also be incorporated into the definition.

whore = someone who lets you pay for sex ie: prostitute.

slut = someone who throws their vagina/penis around stuffing/getting stuffed by people weekly/daily.

and bf/gf doesn't count.

Well the two are almost the same

Whore and Slut are used for the some reasons
a slut can be someone who dresses really unmodestly and goes to bars gets drunk goes home with someone they dont even know
Whore can be used for the same reason too


Whore and slut are used for guys/girls that give away sex for nothin or they can be giving sex for money
there isnt a seprate name for a person you seels sex its called a hooker or prostitute whore can be used the same as slut

In my community a whore is someone who does Everything and Anything with no standrads and no forshadowing what could or would happen if they did do those acts. They attract the prey, they get the goods, they continue until they find another and then leave the inital and move on. They have a big percentile of cheating, stealing and lying and drug abuse and alcholism.

A slut is someone who has low standards but is someone who attracts a bf/gf and is usually a very intimate with their partner. They will find someone who they are attracted too and have nice qualities that arent physical and be intimate quickly usually. They will do many acts but attempt to say out of STDS and harms way. They have a mild chance of doing illegal acts yet mildly as a drink of alcohol exclusivly at parties and weak drugs yet not smoking.

well a whore is someone in my opinion who sleeps around with more then 3 guys a week'and a slut...

I pretty much was asking what behavior other people here thought would reflect someone as a "slut" or a "whore" in their eyes. Not so much the "cut and dry" definition.

I see what you're saying. Not the difference between the two, but why and how someone is defined to be a "slut" or "whore".

People label others by their attitude, behavior, and appearance. If their attitude is that of a show-off and a personality that says, "I'm better than you" usually would make one slut/whore. If their behavior is flirtatious towards most people, they would be considered a slut/whore. If their appearance tries to reveal many of their body parts or make themselves seem hotter, they would be defined as a slut/whore.

I'm all for trying to look your best, but there is a difference between hot and professional, and I believe in most work and public places, they should stay separate.

A slut or a whore is someone who doesn't choose wisely.

What 2 consenting people do in the privacy of their own space is their own business. It's only labelled when outsiders find out, usually by the outsider.
