so I have this gf and I want to breakup with her because summer is coming and it will be to hard to stay together. I still like her and don't want to hurt her so what should I do?

I, personally, find that to be a horrible reason to break up with someone, if you truly liked this girl you wouldn't break up with her over that...

All bias aside, you should explain to her that it's going to be hard to stay together, and why. Let her either agree or disagree, and try to help.

You could always try to work it out over the summer, see what could work and when you could see eachother.

However, if you really want to break up with her, then tell her something like "I really do care about you, but I think it might be hard for us to be together over the summer, with us both being really busy (Is that why it would be hard?) and all. Again, I really do care about you, and I'm not trying to hurt you in any way, and I want to be friends still."

Oh, just be warned, MOST girls won't want to get back together after you breaking up with them for a summer. It just....doesn't really work.

You can try to keep the relationship going, however, if you feel you need to breakup, then be honest about it and tell her why. If you want to minimize the damage, reassure her of your affection for her and remind her that it's not because of her, it's because you'll be too busy and in breaking up ahead of time, you're protecting her from a harsher breakup.
