I'm overweightish. I'm 217 lbs at 13 years old. I'm trying to slim down.

Any tips?

I don't really like drinking water, but is flavored water the same?

And is skim milk healthy?

Flavored water is better than soda but regular water is always the best beverage when trying to lose weight.

Skim milk is much better for you than whole milk. If you like it then its ok to drink it.

If you want to lose weight, don't eat any junk food, drink water, and be active. Ride a bike, play outside like sports, and run/walk.

Flavoured water can have LOADS of sugar in it.

Try any juice that's low in sugar (you can get ones that are less than %1 of your RDA per glass).

Also, excercise. Nothing heavy, just some aerobics etc. On top of that, just try walkign to places more, uisng the stairs more etc. Anything to burn slightly more calories!
