Only certain HTML tags will work.
Please change your signature. This site deals with sensitive topics like that, and your current signature does not help.

Yes, from what I understand the default to be, only the following tags are accepted: [b],[i],<u>
And as he said, please change your signature as it's near or quite offencive to some members. Thanks :)

o ya i just thought about that. I gusse some asshole could embed a bad javascript or somthing.. But could you alow a code like this <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="500" height="350" ID="Captivate1">
<param name="movie" value="Bush slideshow.swf">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<param name="menu" value="false">
<param name="loop" value="1">
<embed src="Bush slideshow.swf" width="500" height="350" loop="1" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" menu="false"></embed>
</object>
Like if their was some way to make sure the file was a swf.

For one thing, I don't think phpBB has that ability (it might, somewhere though). Second of all, this will still leave the object tag open, which can/will lead to certain security risks. Lastly, this would be cruel to the potential majority of users, who use dial-up.

Use BBCode.
For <img>, use:
[img]

<pre> as well.

It doesn't really matter, the [*img*] tag (without the *'s) works just fine, and there's no reason to use the break-line tag when phpBB parses automatically.
Though I'll admit, I didn't know VT allowed the pre tag...
Grr - allow anchor tags with names! :P

Or, so whenever I choose to make a really, really long guide again, I can have a little TOC at the top for people to use :D
