I think that if you build muscle early, you will be able to build the most amount of muscle rather than when youre like...40 and you are not growing.
Umm, so I think you should start now while your body is creating lots of hormones to fuel this production.
However, 13...a bit to young. Maybe 15 is a good age to start

there isn't anything wrong with a little light weight lifting and cardio work at your age, but you should probably hold off on the hard core working out for a couple of years, when your body is more mature.

Ya you can work out, just do body wieght stuff(push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups) instead of lifting, which could hurt your body until you are fully developed.

okay i thought so. im wondering if i could build enough muscle by doing about 20 push ups, crunches, and squats or something daily (maybe 4-5 times a week.) will it help me build muscle faster in the log run? one of my friends just said i should wait cause even if i started now, people my age when im 16/17 will be just as fit after working out for only1 or 2 years
