Today in wood shop the teacher told me to roll of my sleeves and when I said no he pulled one back, said "Oh, you've got some marks on your arm." He then gave me a speech about how clothing can get caught in the machines. For the rest of the class I was so freaked out by it that my legs were shaking so bad I could barely stand up. The next class was art so thankfully I didn't have to do anything, when the councilor came in to get another kid I nearly jumped out of my seat. I've just been feeling like crap since then. I haven't cut for nearly a week. I just don't know what to do right now since can't seem to settle down.

Okay dude, well a week is good. But maybe when you have wood shop next, try using tape around your wrists? to keep the clothes from getting stuck?
Its a thought :)
Well done on a week not cutting :)

Well Done For Not Cutting! I Always Wear A Wrist Band So Nobody Can See (: But Foundation Can Work Pretty Well...But Your A Guy So I Don't Recomend It. Anyway It Is Scary When Things Like That Happen, Belive Me I Know First Hand, But Still Only About Three People Know And None Of Them Are Family.

Yea I was really meaning to get a wrist band last weekend but it really wouldn't work very well right now because I've got some older cuts that haven't quite healed yet. All over my forearm.

I hate stories like yours, b/c they remind how some people in authority (in your case, this teacher) abuse their authority. He had no right to forceably roll your sleeve up. It was completey inappropriate and unnecessary, all he had to do if he was concerned about the safety aspect of clothing and machinery was to explain this to you. So, I suspect you're feeling (rightfully) unsettled b/c he violated you, and in the process revealed something very personal (your scars) that you did not want to expose.

Frankly, I think you should tell your folks about this outrageous display of heavy handed authority and have them complain officially to the school. That way, you (and any future unfortunate 'victims') can feel reassured that he won't be touching any student anytime in the future.

Maybe by doing that, by doing something that provides a sense of reassurance that you will not be so violated again, you'll settle down.
