I was wondering, if anyone else has bed wetting problems like me? And what protection do you use? What works the best? As in goodnites, underjams, ect. Please only respond if you wet for real! Real responces are welcome!

~Thanks

Assuming that the bedwetting isn't caused by some *other* problem, there's a very effective treatment: Either a nasal spray or pill, will (in most cases) eliminate the problem. Tell your folks, let them get you to the doctor. This is one problem that you don't have to endure.

I was a betwetter until puberty, and I wearing protective underwear was a good first step. Also, make sure you have one of those rubber/plastic things that go around your mattress so that when and if you wet your bed that your urine doesn't penetrate your mattress. I would say one thing that really helped me during those years was making sure I urinate before I went to bed and avoided drinking large drinks before going to bed. Also, the minute you get the urge to urinate don't stay in bed and force yourself to get up and go to the washroom.

Have you seen a doctor about your problem? In some boys there is this valve in the penis that is not adequetely developed (its name escapes me at the moment). This particular valve normally holds urine back very, very well even with a very full bladder. For some guys this valve can be weak, and maybe you have that condition?

Anyway, just make sure you go to the bathroom before bed, avoid large drinks before sleep, and wear protective underwear and have a rubber sheet around your mattress so that if and when an accident happens you will be all right.

I agree with all of the things above. A good solution is just to set one or two alarm clock throughout the night. When the alarms go off go to the bathroom.

OK, well, if you need to use the bathroom, don't hesitate, even if you get in trouble for getting up in the night. I've hesitated too many times, and that just can't do.

i dont get why everyone tells people to go get pills for any problem ... you dont need drugs for everything.

bed wetting stages are at different ages and you will usually grow out of it. the previous suggestions about going before bed, avoiding drinking before and that is really good so try that.

if its becoming a frequent and hassling thing then perhaps see a doctor ... but let it run its course

I used to wet the bed if the room I was sleeping in was too hot or using to much blankets.
So maybe sleep next to a fan, with a little less blankets.
That's all I know
