Do you ever listen to certain songs, and they give you nostalgic feelings when you listen to them? Perhaps because they used to be popular during a certain time, or you used to listen to a lot when you were with a girlfriend/boyfriend, or anything else.

By nostalgic, I mean you get a hard sense of longing for the past, or they "bring back memories".

A lot of songs do this to me.

Destination Unknown I don't know who actually sings it, I don't feel like dancing by Scissor Sisters, and Starz In Their Eyes by Just Jack, Rehab by Amy Winehouse, amongst a few other songs remind me lots of when I was 14 in Year 9 back in 2007.

Drugs Don't Work by The Verve remind me of when my old dog died in May 2008, and another song by The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony reminds me of when my sister left school in 2000, and even many Spice Girls songs remind me of my young childhood, simply because they were on a lot back then.

Pump It by Black Eyed Peas, and Hips Don't Lie by Shakira remind me a lot of my vacation in Turkey and a lot of summer 2006.

There's a good few others, but I can't think of them.

Ain't No Mountain High Enough ~ Marvin Gaye & Tammii Terrell
That, and a whole bunch of other old Motown songs remind me of my dad.

Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self ~ Pink reminds me of a whole bunch of bad memories relating to my childhood :(

A lot of 90s - early 00s music like TLC, Boyz II Men, boy bands, Ja Rule when he would constantly feature Ashanti and other singers in his songs.

*tear* Those were the good ol' days.

Anything mainly by Journey. They used to play them on the radio all the time back when I was a wee lad. Everyday I went to school, my mom would drive me, and they would always play a Journey song. I miss those days.

Also, the one song that reminds me of my crush is "You Can't Hurry Love", the original Motown version.

Reminds me of my first crush. She was the sweetest girl, really. Too bad I couldn't get what the message meant and fucked up.

I was 14.

Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance
I know it's quite new but that was the first ever time I listened to decent music and just played the whole album on repeat for like, six months. Great time <3

I don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith.

It was mine and my exes song together.

I really didn't listen to much music at all when I was younger... for me it would really just be like, the opening theme songs to old TV shows and stuff. :B
