average hard is like between 5-7 inches, I'm unsure about flaccid.

Agree with above, the vast majority of adults fall within the range 5-7" when erect so 6" is very much the average.

Flacid there's much more variation. Guys tend to be either 'Growers', meaning they have a small flacid penis which grows to a much bigger size when they get a hardon, on 'Showers' who's flacid penis is bigger but doesn't get much bigger when its erect.

i know 5 inches is average, but i'd much rather be at the top of the average at 7 inches. doens't it seem like 7 inches is so much bigger than 5? i'm only 5.5"
