ok i was on a chat board and this idiot said somthing that got me kicked with an IP ban

i sould not have been kicked and its pissed me off

i then found that my ip stays the same all the time so i tryed a spoofer and it didnt work or i set it up wrong...well i uninstalled it and now my MSN wont work and same with IE connecting to the web


so whats wrong?

i dont know much about computers so please spell it out for me...hope you can help

The spoofer probably just put your connection through a proxy. To change it back, start up Internet Explorer, go to Tools >> Internet Options... >> Connections (tab) >> LAN Settings... >> check "Automatically detect settings..." and uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN ..."
This should completely disable proxy connections through IE (and probably MSN as it uses a lot of IE's settings).

I hope this is all that spoofer did... My best advice to you is never use another one.

thanks that worked but the spoofer didnt get me onto the chat board.....what do they use to block names?

Just send an email to the administrator explaining what happened, then he should let you back in.
