In my little town in Canada being bisexual/gay/lesbian means to most people at my school as some kind of... :what: disease? It's really annoying and I know some of you feel the same way as i do. As a result of this We/I get bullied/offended a lot. Sometimes it's just small things, not necessarily directed at you, but sometimes it is. I'm not sure what to do because if i just 'ignore them' (which I'm used to now) they just keep doing it like I'm some kind of animal that doesn't respond. I don't have a lot courage to really talk back, but a bit.
Should I:
Walk Away
Ingnore Them
Tell them to leave me alone (nicely).
Tell them to leave me alone (meanly).
Edit: Please have some reasoning.

Ouch! Abuse isn't acceptable in any circumstance nor for many reason, esp. for something you have no control over. That's also called discrimination. And that's especially ugly.
The real question, though, isn't what you should do, but what the goal is, what you hope to accomplish. It would be nice if you could somehow educate these cretins with your response, it would be nice to make it stop, but it's doubtful that anything you can do will change their attitudes, b/c that's what causing their discrimination and abuse.
So, I think it comes down to replying in a way that makes you feel OK about yourself, something that doesn't somehow diminish your self esteem or how you see/feel about yourself.
Personally, I think you should not respond to it at all, not giving them anything is probably more frustrating to them than anything you could say or do..........unless, of course, there's something there to be done to really get them to stop (maybe telling the principal). Short of that, it's best to not give them the satisfaction of knowing they've somehow gotten the best of you. They're just not worth that.

Thanks, can't report half the school to the office though :D
I just ignore them but it becomes some game they like to play. Like a standing joke, that's how i feel right now.
