Windows 7: 2010 Release Confirmed

Microsoft have confirmed 2010 as the release date for the lastest operating system, Windows 7. Here's a link to some first possible screenies:

The date on that blog post says "Sunday, May 25, 2008"

Microsoft have said it will probably be late 09 since.

There's way too much UI. If it's released like that then I'm sticking with XP or Vista.

Those are old fake screenshots, This article and these photos appeared before the beta was released. Look at the beta, that is windows 7.

This is likely to be the RTM Version (Release to Manufacturing). So only OEMs (Dell, Sony, HP, etc.) and pirates will have access to it. A month or two later the Retail version will be on sale (for hundreds more of course).
