Runaway for Love(poem)

This is a true story that happend to me about 4days ago. The fight was between me and my mom. My dad was trying to hold us together. My mom doesn't agree on my choice of love. I'm dating over the internet, but she doesn't understand. He's my one and only. My always&forever. I love you, Josh.



The sky is pale
and the road is long
I granted your wish
since you wanted me gone

I grabbed my shoes
and walked out the door
I made up your mind
when I got slammed on the floor

you said i'm worthless
and you wanted me dead
so i'm walking the pavement
my eyes looking ahead

It's getting dark
and i'm getting scared
i'm walking farther
than i've ever dared

I can't see the road
or even the stars
only when basked in light
given by passing cars

i keep my head down
as strangers walk by
i'm so afraid
but try not to cry

A car pulls over
and follows behind
it flashes its lights
and i'm losing my mind

I hear a door slam
and a voice calls my name
I look back
and can't believe that you came

I get in the car
and you ask me "why?"
i look out the window
as the world flys by

Back to the beginning
and we're fighting once more
I try to explain
but you walk out the door

I'm fighting for love
and she doesn't agree
but i'm not giving up
he's the only one for me

we're far apart, sure
but we've been through alot
we're holding on tight
with everything that we've got
