*sigh*

You have quit. Good. But now you want to start again? What made you quit in the first place? I can tell you without asking. You didn't like it. Doesn't matter about friends, family etc, it all goes down to the fact you didn't like it. A smoker stops because he doesn't like it. For hells sake, just think to yourself: Do I really want that shit all over again?

Go find a hobby, but just don't slice your arm. It's just pointless.

yea, take up some foreign language or try a new sport. no offence but i think if you want to cut just to see the blood come out, i think that might affect you later in life. dont go back to what could later become an addiction/habit

ouch that hurts

You guys don't sound like you're understanding the point. Ultimately cutting is a choice, but it's not like "I'll never cut again." Because it's a hard habit that you can't just stop over night. Now Strongbad, (kudos for the homestar reference!) what you need is to aim for something beyond yourself, and beyond the habit. For example, you might want to quit to honor someone special who passed away, or perhaps to prove to yourself that you can do it. But, we can't help you, unless you're truly willing to quit, and can help yourself.
